Had CNY concert today! Band performed in the concert and played some CNY songs:) And surprisingly, the instructors said we had done well this time. Is is because the sec fours are leaving so they said that? I doubt so cos i really think that we performed well this time round! It will be the first and last time im performing on stage and wearing the full band uniform:( Was supposed to have a last band concert outside but Ms Yeo disallowed the sec fours to take part in the concert. Quite saddening though cause we alrdy started working on the pieces and really excited about the concert. Its really quite sad though to leave the band like that cos i have been in the band for four years. Friendships,bonds were slowly built up. A lot of wonderful memories during the band camp too. The day we took part in the syf and clinch the bronze award etc. Although sometimes i have complaints about the long and many practices in band and even dread to go to the band sometimes, after today i felt that i somehow will miss band. T.T took alot alot of band photos today and heard that the photos will be framed up and will be given to the sec fours as a memory gift! Will miss band, band mates, sax section, the instructors, the scoldings and pushups.
